Kyle Puro practices juvenile dependency and family law in Orange County and Los Angeles County. Mr. Puro worked for the Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers, Inc. as a court-appointed attorney for parents dealing with the Foster Care System in Los Angeles County before he founded The Law Offices of Kyle R. Puro. During that time, he litigated dozens of cases that involved neglect and abuse of children. He dedicated his career to reuniting children with their families and fighting those who would keep them apart.
Mr. Puro has also litigated cases involving domestic violence, substance abuse, physical abuse causing broken bones, sexual abuse, and negligence causing the death of children. Mr. Puro has worked with experts from the fields of substance abuse, psychology, toxicology, pediatrics, orthopedics, pathology, and radiology. During this time, he obtained three reversals for his clients in the California Court of Appeals for cases which he had litigated in the trial court level. In addition, he obtained a writ in the Court of Appeals that stopped the adoption of a child thanks to the blatant violation of due process by a judicial officer. Mr. Puro has comprehensive knowledge of the foster care system and stoic bravery in the courtroom, plus a straightforward approach to his clients that enable him to consistently obtain favorable results. Mr. Puro frequently appears as a guest on the UBN Network’s National Child Safe Radio Program, discussing issues involving child neglect and child abuse.
Before Mr. Puro worked in Dependency Court, he practiced family law in both Orange County and Los Angeles. This experience enabled him to work with a large group of diverse families. He has litigated cases that involved intra-state and international child custody disputes and has considerable experience with helping to retrieve kidnapped children.
Currently, Mr. Puro handles cases involving child neglect and abuse, separate property, community property, domestic violence, spousal support, child support, paternity, child custody, and divorce. He began his legal career working primarily with the LGBT community, focusing on same-sex marriage. He earned his BA in English at the University of Michigan, Flint in his hometown and his JD at the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, which is in Lansing, Michigan.
Very bright and focused attorney! Who looks at the evidence provided to him and is not afraid to present evidence. This may seem simple however most attorneys are not open to presenting the truth in a clear and concise manner. I would highly recommend him!
