Karen Wasson is a one of a kind trial attorney who has been practicing the law for the last 25 years. She has been able to defend clients in Florida, Georgia and Colorado. Currently she is working as the Director of Commercial Casualty for the Farmers Eastern Market Operations. Her practice areas include personal injury, professional liability, litigation management, civil litigation, claims management, product liability, legal liability, property and casualty insurance, claim investigation, workers compensation and insurance law.

Karen completed her schooling and graduated from the Florida State University in the year 1988. She received her JD degree from the University of Georgia in 1991. During her graduation she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and Scalphunters.

Right after her law degree was complete; Karen started litigating felony cases in Gwinnett County’s District Attorney’s Office. She then came to Florida to practice personal injury cases in the year 1997. Karen worked here until 2007 and then along with her family moved to Colorado to work with an insurance company as an in-house counsel. She came back to Florida in 2015 and rejoined her practice.

Karen is an extremely talented and vigilant attorney who knows the possible chaos and suffering that can be caused by someone’s negligence and mistakes. She focuses wholeheartedly on each of her case and tries her best to recover as much possible for her clients. She has been AV rated by Martindale Hubbell due to her countless accomplishments during her career. She is also highly recommended by her colleagues because of her expertise is her field. Apart from her legal practice, Karen has also taught at the Gwinnett County’s Police Academy, National Business Institute and many other legal courses at the local college.
